This Cookie Policy explains how NurseMove uses cookies and similar technologies on nursemove.com and related Services. Read it with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags. They help sites authenticate users, remember preferences, keep sessions secure, and understand usage patterns.

Why we use them

  • Keep you signed in and protect forms with CSRF tokens
  • Remember preferences such as theme (light / dark / auto)
  • Maintain security and diagnose outages or abuse
  • Measure which pages and features are useful so we can improve the product

Types of cookies we use

Essential (strictly necessary)

Required for core functionality: authentication, session continuity, load balancing, and security. The Services may not work correctly if these are blocked.

Preference / functional

Store choices you make, such as display theme or UI preferences, so you do not have to reset them every visit.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Help us understand traffic and sign-ups and measure whether our advertising works. We use the Google tag (Google Analytics / Google Ads) and the Meta Pixel. These providers may receive device and usage information, such as pages viewed and events like account registration, and process it under their own policies.

We do not use these technologies to sell your personal information.

Third-party cookies

Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies—for example Google sign-in, Stripe checkout for employer payments, fonts, or infrastructure providers. Those providers process data under their own policies. Review their documentation if you use those features.

Duration

  • Session cookies: typically deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies: remain for a defined period (or until you delete them) so preferences and sessions can resume.

Exact lifetimes vary by purpose. Session and security cookies are generally shorter-lived than preference cookies.

Your choices

  • Consent in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: if you visit from these regions, analytics and advertising tags don’t load until you accept them in our cookie banner. Rejecting them doesn’t limit any feature.
  • Do not share: anywhere, you can turn off advertising tags, or all non-essential tags, on Your privacy choices. Opting out deletes the Google and Meta cookies already set on nursemove.com.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sharing for advertising.
  • Use your browser settings to block, delete, or alert you about cookies.
  • Clear site data for nursemove.com to reset preferences (including theme).
  • Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, form submission, or other core features.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Manage how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Meta ad preferences.

Browser help pages usually explain cookie controls for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices, vendors, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
