๐ต Real US pay check: what are nurses actually earning?
Offer letters can be hard to compare when you've never worked in the US. Let's build a realistic picture together. If you're already working as an RN in the US, please share (no names or employers needed):
- State and city/region
- Specialty and shift (days/nights)
- Years of experience (and how many in the US)
- Base hourly rate, plus any differentials (night, weekend, certification)
- Sign-on or relocation bonus, if any, and whether it came with a commitment
Still waiting to move? Drop your questions about an offer you're weighing. Remember that cost of living varies a lot by state, so a higher rate isn't always more money in your pocket. For official wage data by state, check the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov). Browsing sponsoring roles? See nursemove.com/jobs.
