Surveillance video shows chilling attack by man on ER nurse, staff at Jackson Memorial Hospital

Months after a nurse who was injured by a patient while on the job announced her lawsuit against her employer, 7News has obtained surveillance video of the chilling attack. Two camera angles captured emergency room nurse Yanira Eguileor and her colleagues under attack by the raging patient at Jackson Memorial Hospital on May 30. “It was a total of three bashes to the head, and he threw me to the floor. I covered my face with my hands,” said Eguileor. Eguileor said the man, identified as Wenyou Rubin, put his sights on her when she defended a colleague who had been hit.
