This policy covers paid employer features on NurseMove, currently featured job placement ($79 list price for 30 days). Nurses and healthcare workers never pay to use NurseMove, so there is nothing to refund on that side. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

At a glance

  1. Days 1–7 Full refund, no questions asked Changed your mind or filled the role already? Ask within 7 days of purchase.
  2. Day 8 onward Get unused days back Close the job early and choose a pro-rated refund or a featured credit.
  3. Up to 60 days Billing mistakes fixed in full Duplicate charges, wrong amounts, or a placement that never went live.

Change of mind

If you ask within 7 days of purchase, we refund the full amount you paid. You don’t need to give a reason. Common ones are a role filled faster than expected, a job posted by mistake, or a change in hiring plans.

When we issue the refund, the job stops being featured. The job itself stays posted unless you close it.

Billing errors

We refund the affected amount in full, whenever it falls, if:

  • you were charged twice for the same placement;
  • you were charged a different amount than the price shown at checkout, including a founding employer discount that wasn’t applied;
  • you paid, but the job was never featured because of a problem on our side;
  • we remove or end a featured placement early for reasons that are not your fault, such as discontinuing the feature.

Please report billing errors within 60 days of the charge so we can trace them with our payment processor.

Unused featured days

Hired someone before the featured period ended? Close the job and tell us. We count the day you contact us as used, and every remaining day of the 30 days placement as unused.

Option 1: Pro-rated refund

We refund the share of what you paid that matches the unused days, rounded down to the cent.

Example: you pay $79 for 30 days and close the job on day 12. 18 days were unused, so the refund is $79 × 18 ÷ 30 = $47.4.

Option 2: Keep it as a featured credit

If you hire regularly, take the unused time back as a featured credit instead of cash. If at least half of the placement was unused, you get one full featured credit, worth a fresh 30 days on any future job. Credits show on the Plan page of your employer dashboard and don’t expire while your employer account is open.

Unused-day requests must be made while the placement is still running.

Featured credits

Credits from the founding employer program or a refund swap have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. If you use a credit and change your mind within 7 days, we return the credit to your account.

When refunds don’t apply

  • We removed the job or suspended the account for breaking our Terms of Service, for example fake listings, misleading pay, or charging candidates fees.
  • The featured period has already ended.
  • Results: featured placement increases visibility, but it doesn’t guarantee a number of views, applications, or hires.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.

How to request a refund

  1. Send us a message using the contact form (Featured jobs or billing) or email [email protected], from the email on your employer account.
  2. Include the job title and the date of the charge. For unused days, tell us whether you’d like a refund or a credit.
  3. We confirm the amount by reply and issue it to the original payment method.

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. A dispute freezes the payment, and it’s almost always slower than asking us.

When the money arrives

Payments are processed by Stripe. Once we issue a refund, it usually shows on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Credits are added to your account straight away.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Purchases are covered by the version in place when you paid.
